2024 was another busy year. We traveled a lot! We went to England, Ireland, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Hawaii, California, Florida, Texas, Tennessee, Idaho, Utah, New York, and North Carolina. My favorite part was experiencing all the different cultures and people. In between all the travel, Ella went back out to Idaho for college at BYU-I, Preston graduated high school and started his freshman year at Miami University, the boys participated in lots of sporting events, Brennen got his drivers license, and a lot of fun with family and friends. Every time I watch these year end videos I am reminded how much I love my family and how blessed we have been.
2023 was another good year for us. We watched A LOT of sporting events that our boys participated in. We also had a great summer that included trips to Hawaii and to Norris Lake. This year, Preston turned 18 and started his senior year of high school. Brennen learned how to play the guitar. He started with an electric guitar and then added an acoustic guitar later in the year. Griffin continues to love soccer and we enjoyed watching him this fall. Ella spent the year in Uruguay finishing her mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. After eighteen months, she came home two weeks before Christmas so we were blessed to spend the holidays together as a family.
We had a great 2022. We spent a lot of time at sporting events this year. In addition to track, Preston decided to run cross country and swim for the first time. Griffin continued with soccer. Brennen started high school this year. There were trips to Hawaii, Miami, Austin, New York, Streamsong, Palm Springs, and an epic family trip to Orlando visiting all the theme parks. Ella got her eighteen month mission call for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and left for Montevideo, Uruguay. We look forward to having her home next Christmas!
2021 was a good year for us. We celebrated milestone birthdays for all our kids. Griffin entered double digits, Brennen turned 13 entering his teenage years, Preston turned 16 and got his drivers license, and Ella turned 18 and graduated high school and left for college.
Despite COVID and the other terrible events that happened this year, we still had a great year. We spent more family time together and tried new things. It’s not a year we would want to repeat, but it is a year we will always remember!
Here is our year in review. We had another great year. It was full of basketball and soccer and swimming and vacations and holidays with family and fun times with friends. As I think about some of the hard times we had this year and then I watch this video and see all the good times, I think I will take the hard times so I can appreciate the good even more!
For summer vacation this year we went to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. We had a great time. The weather was great, the food was great, and the beach was amazing. We went on some fun excursions where we got to swim with dolphins, snorkel in the ocean, zipline, knee board and more. It was definitely a vacation we will all remember.
Here is our year in review. We had another great year. As a family we went to New York City. We spent time watching the kids in musical performances and sporting events. We spent lots of time swimming and enjoying life!

Here is our 2016 year in review. As I watch it, I am reminded at how blessed we were this year. We spent lots of time together at home, in the pool, on vacation, with friends, with extended family, and so much more.
I used the app 1 Second Everyday to create the video and then added the music in windows movie maker.
